About The Position
EastCoast Builders is seeking a skilled Millwork Craftsman to create and install custom millwork using high-quality materials and advanced woodworking techniques. The Craftsman assists with millwork installations, performs physical labor, and maintains a clean and safe job site. Under the supervision of senior team members, the role offers hands-on development in woodworking, precision cutting, and assembling millwork components. It is an opportunity to grow within the trade and gain experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic knowledge of woodworking tools, including hand tools, power drills, sanders, and nail guns.
- At least one year of experience in construction, carpentry, or millwork is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with senior team members to support all stages of the installation process.
- Assist in preparing and installing cabinetry, moldings, trim, and architectural woodwork.
- Ensure materials being installed are correct, properly prepared, and free from defects.
- Ensure machinery and tools are regularly maintained, calibrated, and safe to use.
- Inspect finished pieces for quality and accuracy.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and plans.
- Lift, carry, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Perform essential physical labor and maintain a clean and safe job site.
