About The Position

The Lead Cook oversees day-to-day production and line cook operations for patient services and retail locations. The role provides input and fulfills catering needs, ensures food safety and sanitation procedures are followed, prepares and processes production sheets and waste logs, and assists with scheduling for the production team. Other duties may be assigned. This is an on-site role at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. The position is 1.0 FTE with 40 standard hours per week. Shifts include 5:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m., 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., and 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; weekends and holidays are worked every other occurrence.

Requirements

At least 3 years of cooking experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
ServSafe certification, or ability to obtain it within 1 year of employment.

Nice To Haves

Hospital or large-volume operations experience.
Purchasing experience.
Experience with food service software applications.
