About The Position

The Lead Clerk Sales role supports gift shop operations by assisting customers with merchandise and answering questions about product location, price, and use. The position processes customer payments through a computerized cash register, maintains an accurate bank, and arranges merchandise displays to promote sales. Additional duties include maintaining inventory and cash receipts, stocking merchandise, assisting with monthly physical inventory, and keeping the gift shop clean.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Previous experience is preferred.
