About The Position

The Village at Summerville is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to help create a warm hospitality experience for residents, staff, and visitors. The position provides quality service throughout the community and supports CNA training, onboarding, and performance. The role is full-time, with a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. schedule, and includes a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA certification in the state of South Carolina.
• Three years of experience as a CNA.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• CPR certification.
• Five years of experience as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with the South Carolina Department of Health CNA training program.
• Assist with training and onboarding newly hired CNAs and Nursing Assistants.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure CNA work performance meets expectations.
• Perform weekly room checks to ensure rooms are clean and organized.
• Promote a cordial environment for residents.
• Answer call lights and provide or assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Stock and distribute supplies as directed.
• Follow guidelines for charges of items charged to residents and use supplies for work without waste.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and return it to its designated storage location after each use.
