About The Position

The Village at Summerville is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Certified Nursing Assistant to help create a warm hospitality experience for residents, staff, and visitors. The role supports quality service throughout the community by providing resident care, assisting with CNA onboarding and training, and offering guidance to ensure CNA performance meets expectations. The position is full-time, scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and includes a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CNA certification in South Carolina.
• Three years of experience as a CNA.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• CPR certification.
• Five years of experience as a CNA.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with the South Carolina Department of Health CNA training program.
• Assist with training and onboarding newly hired CNAs and Nursing Assistants.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure CNA work performance meets expectations.
• Perform weekly room checks to ensure rooms are clean and organized.
• Promote a cordial environment for residents.
• Answer call lights and provide or assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Stock and distribute supplies as directed; follow guidelines for resident charges and avoid wasteful use of supplies.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and return it to its designated storage location after each use.
