About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides hands-on support to residents at The Village at Summerville, helping create a warm, homelike environment. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, following individualized care plans, monitoring residents’ health, and working with nurses, families, and the care team. The position is full-time, with a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedule and required weekend and holiday availability. A progressive sign-on bonus is offered for full-time CNAs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Follow individualized care plans for each resident.
• Create a warm, homelike environment.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and DHEC-compliant living space.
• Work closely with nurses, families, and the care team.
• Maintain documentation and safety standards.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.
