DFW Airport Lead Cabin Cleaner - AM
About The Position
The Lead Cabin Cleaner ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and guiding team members. The Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present and demonstrates established standards for keeping buildings and facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and performing general janitorial duties as needed. The position is located at DFW Airport in Irving, Texas. It is an AM shift, with schedules varying based on availability and training completion: 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m., 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay is $15.75 per hour, paid weekly. ABM describes this as a good job for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Nice To Haves

- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Complete any additional certifications or training required by the site type.
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with creating daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Take care of keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or nonfunctional features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
- Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
