DFW Airport Lead Cabin Cleaner - PM
About The Position
The Lead Cabin Cleaner ensures facility operations follow policies and procedures and coordinates daily operations by delegating assignments and guiding team members. The Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is absent and demonstrates established standards for keeping facilities clean and safe for workers and customers. The position involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and assisting with general janitorial duties as needed. This role is at DFW Airport in Irving, Texas. The PM shift schedule varies based on availability and completion of training, with listed schedules of 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Pay is $16.75 per hour, paid weekly. ABM describes the role as suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- One year of similar work experience.
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Obtain any additional certifications or training needed for the site type.
- Follow assigned work schedules and route cards, and report barriers.
- Provide leadership and direction to team members.
- Maintain open communication between field employees and management, and monitor and document client communications.
- Assist with preparing daily and weekly work schedules.
- Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
- Care for keys and access cards for the property.
- Report damaged, broken, or out-of-service features and items.
- Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag jobs) in the assigned building.
- Oversee job quality and confirm completion with the Area Manager.
- Train new hires assigned to the building in accordance with onboarding procedures.
- Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor employees.
- Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
