Harness is seeking a senior individual contributor to own accounts receivable and cash collections for its fast-growing SaaS business as part of the Revenue Accounting team. The role focuses on driving cash collection, reducing days sales outstanding, and building scalable collections infrastructure. The analyst will be an independent operator, maintain audit-ready processes, and serve as the collections subject matter expert and escalation point across Finance, Sales, Legal, and DealOps. The role partners with Billing but owns the full collections lifecycle, from credit review through cash application, dispute resolution, and reporting. Responsibilities span AR aging and collection strategy, cash application and reconciliation, credit risk assessment, dispute and deduction management, metrics and reporting, billing partnership, process improvement, month-end close, and compliance. The analyst will work with customers and internal teams to resolve past-due balances and payment issues; forecast cash receipts and identify risks; maintain AR dashboards and procedures; improve and automate quote-to-cash workflows; and support close and audit requirements. Collections practices must comply with ASC 606, SOX controls, and internal credit and revenue recognition policies. The position is remote within the United States, with occasional travel potentially required. The anticipated base salary is $121,000–$148,000 annually, and compensation may also include equity and benefits.
