About The Position

The Lead Bartender assists with overseeing the bar and supports bartenders and bar backs. The role supervises the bar area and helps ensure guests receive a warm, authentic experience. The Lead Bartender also provides inspiring and strategic leadership in support of the company’s mission, core values, and goals. The position contributes to bar-team coaching, training, morale, beverage preparation and development, inventory and ordering, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of bar spaces. Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a similar scope.
BarSmarts certification.

Responsibilities

Assist with coaching bar-team members to provide elevated, consistent guest service.
Help maintain a positive team environment and morale for the bar team.
Assist with batching to ensure product quality and consistency.
Assist with developing and maintaining the beverage program.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the spirit room, beer cooler, walk-up window, and main bar.
Assist with ordering liquor, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages.
Assist with inventory and spot checks.
Assist with setting spirit par levels.
Assist with training bartenders and bar backs.
Supervise the bar area and support bartenders and bar backs.
