About The Position

Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Lead Application Developer to support the FAST application and integration services developed in C#. The role analyzes, administers, designs, develops, implements, and supports the FAST product and integration services, while providing technical leadership to the FAST IT team. The developer establishes and supports best practices, documents team processes to enable knowledge transfer, manages day-to-day operations and administration of applicable production applications, and participates in meetings to keep business and IT staff informed about productivity objectives, goals, and concerns. Hybrid work arrangements may be applied for after 90 days.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent plus seven years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of .NET/C# and SQL.
• Knowledge of data handling methods, development techniques, and one or more development programming languages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be results-oriented, adjust to changing priorities, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
• Analytical ability and skills in communication, connection, and collaboration.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; sponsorship or takeover of employment visa or work authorization sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and administer the FAST product and integration services.
• Design and develop the FAST product and integration services.
• Implement and support the FAST product and integration services.
• Provide technical leadership to the FAST IT team.
• Create and support best practices in the design, development, and deployment of FAST services.
• Maintain documentation to support team processes and transfer knowledge to other resources for ongoing support of system changes.
• Manage day-to-day operations and administration of applicable production applications.
• Participate in regular meetings to keep business and IT staff informed of productivity objectives, goals, and concerns.
