About The Position

This position is responsible for developing business application software and statements of problems, designing systems and programs, and troubleshooting applications from technical and operational perspectives to provide solutions. The role supports Web and Internet-based products and services with minimal direction based on documented user requirements, and provides application-related technical and professional assistance to internal stakeholders. Duties are performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java software development.
• Intermediate knowledge of cloud concepts, JavaScript frameworks, and relational databases.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver information clearly and concisely, listen, and communicate effectively with others.

Nice To Haves

• Azure or cloud certifications.
• Java certifications.
• At least 3 years of experience with Azure, ReactJS, MongoDB or Oracle, and test-driven development (TDD).
• At least 3 years of experience with microservices, cloud, and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot application issues from technical and operational perspectives.
• Provide technical and professional assistance related to applications to internal stakeholders.
• Support Web and Internet-based products and services with minimal direction based on documented user requirements.
• Write business application software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business problems and questions.
• Develop statements of problems and design systems and programs.
• Write programs in computer languages for solutions using data processing equipment.
• Solve complex problems using reverse engineering.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
