About The Position

Wyetech is seeking an Application Developer (SWE2 – Software Engineer Level 2) to support the Eurasia & Western Hemisphere mission. The role works directly with mission stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts to gather requirements and develop and deploy end-to-end solutions that support mission workflows. The developer uses cloud environments and customer-specific data repositories to build user-facing applications, RESTful APIs, and data visualizations, and establishes CI/CD pipelines for secure deployment. The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithms, large-dataset processing, real-time systems, and business management information systems. Work is performed individually or as part of a team, using documented requirements and software development and design methodologies appropriate to the environment. The role reviews and tests software components, documents test results, resolves software problem reports, and contributes to system design and requirements analysis, including software reuse and consideration of COTS and GOTS solutions. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and at least five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination accepted under applicable contract requirements.
