About The Position

Naturescape of Maplewood, MN is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role offers a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business, where you can be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. You will be the face of our company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes. Your "office" changes daily as you navigate to residential and commercial properties to complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. You will also act as a consultant and problem-solver, assessing lawn health and landscape needs, and communicating clearly with clients. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal in the winter to ensure customers stay safe and mobile. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. We value a hunger to learn and offer a "learning by doing" environment. Previous experience in general labor, construction, landscaping, or groundskeeping is helpful, but a "can-do" attitude and willingness to be coached are most important. We provide paid training, so no prior lawn care or landscape experience is required. If you are passionate about working outdoors and helping people, this role is for you.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding services for residential and commercial properties.
• Manage a route and transform landscapes.
• Complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control.
• Assess lawn health and landscape needs.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients about landscape needs and services.
• Perform snow removal during winter months.
• Obtain and maintain state pesticide certifications.
