About The Position

Naturescape of Janesville, WI is seeking to hire a Lawn Care Specialist to provide our customers with outstanding services for their residential and commercial properties. This role offers a career in lawn and landscape care with a stable, family-owned business, where you can be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. Your primary responsibility is to be the face of our company in the field, managing a route and transforming landscapes. You will typically work 10-hour days, 4 days per week, with your 'office' changing daily. You'll navigate to residential and commercial properties to complete precision lawn care, lawn aeration, mowing, tree/shrub care and pruning, and mosquito control. You will also act as a consultant and problem-solver, assessing lawn health and landscape needs, building rapport with customers, and explaining the benefits of services. Adaptability is key, as you will pivot to snow removal in the winter. This is a licensed specialist position requiring state pesticide certifications. We provide paid training and encourage a 'learning by doing' approach, valuing a 'can-do' attitude and willingness to be coached.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Motivated with a desire to learn
  • Willingness to obtain state pesticide certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a general laborer, construction worker, landscaper, groundskeeper, or lawn mower.

Responsibilities
