About The Position

The Laundry Supervisor oversees daily laundry and uniform operations, leading and training team members to maintain a consistent supply of clean linens and uniforms. The role manages team member uniform ordering, distribution, and inventory, and oversees linen processing from collection and sorting through ironing, folding, and storage. The supervisor monitors quality, inventory, damage and stain rates, and production reports, while assigning equipment and work areas and maintaining productivity records.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and oversee Laundry and Uniform team members in day-to-day operations.
• Maintain a consistent supply of clean linens and uniforms.
• Oversee ordering, distribution, and inventory of team member uniforms.
• Assign, supervise, and assist with linen collection, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, ironing, folding, and storage.
• Ensure proper maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Track linen quality, inventory levels, stain and damage rates, and production reports.
• Arrange timely linen rewashing, repairs, and reordering as needed.
• Assign machinery, equipment, and work areas to optimize productivity.
• Maintain productivity records, including hourly production metrics.
