About The Position

SMI Hotel Group is recruiting a reliable and diligent Laundry Attendant to help ensure guests receive high-quality linens, bedding, and towels. The role maintains a constant supply of clean linens by performing all stages of linen processing, keeping laundry machinery and the work area clean, and maintaining organized supplies. The attendant also responds to guest service issues and performs additional or other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Present a professional image and maintain a safe and orderly work area.
• Be available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel.
• Perform linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading washers, dryers and chutes, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering linens.
• Maintain the cleanliness of laundry machinery and the laundry area.
• Keep shelves and supplies stocked and organized, and inform a supervisor of inventory or supply shortages.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Perform additional laundry services as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
