About The Position

The Laundry Attendant processes linen and distributes clean linen according to standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and brand standards to help achieve and maintain guest satisfaction. The role contributes to the hotel’s operations and guest experience while supporting the company’s culture and guiding principles. The attendant cleans, sorts, handles, folds, stores, and transports linen and terry; helps maintain laundry supplies and inventory; and may work in other hotel areas as needed. The position requires attention to detail, sustained movement and standing, and availability to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail.
Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
Ability to move continuously during work hours and stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, lift, kneel, and remain in motion throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

Clean linen and terry daily according to operational policies and standards.
Sort stained linen for soaking and re-washing.
Set damaged linen aside for disposal.
Operate washers and dryers according to load limits and linen type.
Fold, stack, hang, and store laundered linen and terry.
Transport clean linen to linen closets and retrieve dirty linen from floors as necessary.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Check laundry chemical supplies.
Work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations.
Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working relationship with company associates.
