About The Position
Home2 Suites By Hilton - Ramsey, MN, a franchised hotel managed by First Call Hospitality, is seeking a Laundry Attendant. The role processes sorted linen, distributes clean linen, and keeps the work area clean and organized. Laundry attendants also contribute to hotel safety and security by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations. The position involves receiving and sorting soiled linen, operating commercial laundry equipment to process it, and inspecting finished linen to ensure it meets quality standards. The attendant maintains a clean and safe work area and alerts a supervisor to equipment malfunctions, supply needs, or damaged linens. Requirements
- Manage time according to laundry machine cycles to complete job tasks.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment.
- Effectively communicate with co-workers who may not speak the same language.
- Good eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort soiled linen into appropriate containers.
- Process sorted linen using washers, dryers, sheet spreaders, ironers, and feeder/folders; inspect finished linen to ensure it meets quality standards.
- Maintain the assigned work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Notify a supervisor about malfunctioning equipment, needed supplies, and damaged linens.
- Distribute clean linen.
- Report damage, follow safety rules, and assist in emergency situations.
