About The Position

The Laundry Attendant sorts, weighs, washes, dries, irons, folds, and stocks guest room and Food & Beverage linen. The role operates laundry equipment, reports damage, hazards, or defective equipment to a supervisor, and uses washing chemicals while controlling supply quantities as recommended by the chemical supplier and approved by the Executive Housekeeper. The attendant follows Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company safety standards, and performs other duties as assigned.

The role calls for a strong work ethic, self-initiative, and enjoyment of working as part of a team to provide great guest experiences. Schedules may vary and may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities

• Sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold, and stock guest room and Food & Beverage linen.
• Know and follow the operating functions of all equipment.
• Report equipment damage, hazards, or defects to a supervisor.
• Use washing chemicals and control supply quantities as recommended by the chemical supplier, with approval of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Follow all Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
