About The Position

The AM Laundry Attendant works in the Omni Fort Worth Hotel’s laundry department, processing and inspecting linen and other items for guest room floors and Food & Beverage areas. The role includes collecting soiled linen from laundry chutes and hotel outlets, operating laundry equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. The attendant must travel to different areas of the hotel to pick up and deliver linen within the time allotted and be able to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Stand at the work station for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently push and pull carts weighing up to 250 pounds throughout the shift.
• Regularly bend, stoop, squat, and stretch.
• Understand and follow directions in the spoken language of the work area.
• Work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort dirty linen from the laundry chute for processing.
• Pick up dirty linen from Food & Beverage outlets and banquets.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironers, and towel folders.
• Stack clean items in laundry bins or trucks for delivery to guest room floors or Food & Beverage areas.
• Operate smaller washers and dryers to process specialty items or guest requests.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the department.
• Follow safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
• Inspect linens for spots, tears, and stains.
• Travel to various hotel areas to pick up and deliver linen items within the allotted time.
