About The Position

Drury Hotels is seeking a Laundry Attendant to perform a variety of laundry duties to provide clean and sanitary linens and terry for guests. This role involves washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting items for wear and tear and stains. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the laundry area is kept clean and organized, maintaining stock and inventory, and may assist with cleaning rooms or public spaces when needed. The position also emphasizes providing exceptional guest experiences through courteous and friendly service, promptly responding to inquiries, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Requirements

Ability to follow verbal directions.
Thorough knowledge of laundry procedures.
Thorough knowledge of laundry supplies.
Ability to work with a variety of chemicals and detergents.
Ability to work without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of laundry duties including washing, drying, sorting, folding, and inspecting linens and terry.
Ensures clean and sanitary linens and terry are provided for guests.
Inspects items for wear and tear and stains.
Maintains a clean and organized laundry area.
Maintains stock and inventory of laundry supplies.
May assist with cleaning rooms or public spaces when needed.
Provides courteous, friendly guest service with a +1 Service Attitude.
Responds promptly and efficiently to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment for the team and guests.
