About The Position

To serve as backup instructor for Latin Lab throughout the academic year. This role involves organizing, preparing for, and conducting Latin Lab sessions for students in Latin 111 and Latin 112 when the regular instructor is unavailable. The position also includes creating exercises, conducting drills to reinforce vocabulary and grammar, supporting students with difficulties, motivating them to continue their studies, and communicating with the professors teaching Latin 111 and Latin 112.

Requirements

• Must be a student who has taken two, preferably three or more, courses in Latin
• Must be trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be articulate and have good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare for, and conduct Latin Lab for students in Latin 111 and Latin 112 whenever Latin Lab Instructor is unavailable
