About The Position

The Greek Lab Leader will serve as an instructor for Greek Lab throughout the academic year. This role involves organizing, preparing for, and conducting lab sessions for students in Greek 111 and Greek 112. The leader will create exercises, conduct drills to reinforce vocabulary and grammar, support struggling students, and motivate them to continue their Greek studies. Additionally, the leader will communicate with the professors teaching Greek 111 and Greek 112.

Requirements

• Must be a student who has taken two, preferably three or more, courses in Greek
• Must be trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be articulate and have good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Organize, prepare for, and conduct Greek Lab for students in Greek 111 and Greek 112 every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday evening
• Create exercises and conduct drills to help students learn Greek vocabulary and understand Greek grammar and syntax
• Support students who are having difficulties with Greek
• Motivate students to continue studying Greek
• Communicate with professors who are teaching Greek 111 and Greek 112
