About The Position

A Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Duties may include yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, office maintenance, and other related work. The listed responsibilities describe the general nature and level of the position and are not an exhaustive list; duties may change at the Company’s discretion.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform assigned responsibilities.
• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pickup.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
