About The Position
A Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Duties may include yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, and general office maintenance. The role may also involve other related duties as assigned. The listed responsibilities describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive; duties may change at the Company’s discretion.
Responsibilities
- Clean up work areas.
- Fuel vehicles and equipment.
- Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment.
- Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick-up.
- Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
- Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
- Install temporary wind fences as required.
- Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
