About The Position

A Laborer safely and efficiently performs general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill. Work may include cleaning work areas, fueling vehicles and equipment, operating general site vehicles and equipment, performing yard work and general office maintenance, installing temporary wind fences, directing site traffic, and other related duties as assigned. This is a union position at the Roosevelt, Washington site, with a stated rate of $27.59 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform assigned job responsibilities.
• Clean up work areas.
• Fuel vehicles and equipment.
• Clean tracks on track-type and related equipment.
• Perform yard work, including mowing and picking up paper.
• Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, and trimming equipment.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
• Install temporary wind fences as required.
• Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
