About The Position

This summer student position is responsible for carrying out standardized tests on used petroleum products, data entry and other lab related duties as required. This is a Monday to Friday position based in Edmonton at our Regional Distribution and Field Service Centre.

Requirements

In progress working toward a chemical/science degree or diploma
Detail orientation with excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
Team player able to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
The successful candidate will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time with repetitive movements and the ability to lift 50lbs
Possess advanced keyboarding skills and have sufficient knowledge of computers and software programs
Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current collective agreement
You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay.
The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.
