About The Position
20 hours per week. Laboratory technician needed to help with beef gene expression project. Assisting Dr. Hellberg with various tasks within their lab.
Requirements
- Prior experience with laboratory techniques, including RNA extraction, reverse transcriptase PCR, and real-time PCR.
Responsibilities
- Conduct RNA extraction.
- Perform Reverse transcriptase PCR.
- Perform Real-time PCR to measure gene expression in different types of beef.
- Assist with manuscript preparation.
