About The Position

The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is hiring a student lab assistant on the Tulsa campus beginning this Fall. This position involves daily cleaning of lab spaces, organizing supplies, laundry management, and equipment maintenance. The assistant will also track inventory, report faulty equipment, and perform other duties as assigned by lab professors or the site coordinator.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Oklahoma.
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status.

Nice To Haves

• 3.5 or higher GPA
• In good standing with the College
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Ability to move equipment safely when needed
• Will be on campus for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of all lab spaces, including sanitizing surfaces.
• Organize and maintain the organization of lab supply closets.
• Manage laundry.
• Maintain lab equipment.
• Track supplies and relay needed inventory to the site coordinator.
• Report any faulty equipment, doors, or lighting to the site coordinator.
• Perform other duties as required by lab professors or the site coordinator.
