About The Position

This position requires a student require with proficiency in data management and analysis using Excel and R. The selected student will manage and organize a large database of hydrologic data fro the Fernow Experimental Forest including temperature, conductivity, discharge, and pressure. The student will statistically analyze data and generate appropriate graphs and maps. The student will also travel to the field site with me 2-4x/month to collect data and perform equipment maintenance. The student will have the opportunity to present a poster or talk at a professional conference in the Fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027. All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year. Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
