About The Position

Brock University is seeking a Lab Demonstrator for the ERSC 3P03 course in the Fall D2 term. This position is part of the CUPE4207-1 employee group. The nominal workload is 10 hours per week, including demonstrating, marking, and lab preparation. The role involves assisting students during labs, grading assignments and examinations, maintaining grading sheets, and leading local course-associated field trips. Lab components will be held in person on campus, and all University pandemic safety protocols must be followed and enforced.

Requirements

• Completion of 15 credits or more of a single or combined degree in Earth Sciences (or equivalent).
• Completion of ERSC 3P03 (or equivalent) with a final grade of 75% or higher.
• Applicants must make a case that their qualifications are equivalent to those required above.
• A cover letter, a current resume, and seniority date must be submitted with the application.
• Applicants that do not include a seniority date will be assumed not to have one.
