Evening Shift Lab Assistant Processor - Lab Services - Kelsey Seybold Clinic: North Houston
About The Position
The Lab Assistant/Processor Specialist processes clinical specimens received in the laboratory. Under limited supervision and according to approved procedures, the role performs laboratory support procedures, including specimen collection, order entry, and specimen processing, while maintaining patient confidentiality. The employee may be assigned to various work locations within Kelsey-Seybold Clinic’s geographic locations and schedules as required. The position offers guidance and development opportunities, with performance recognized in an environment intended to support career growth. The hourly pay range is $16–$29, based on full-time employment and factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Candidates must pass a drug test before beginning employment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and provide outstanding customer service.
- Excellent time management skills, including the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
- Lab data entry experience.
