About The Position

As a Kitchen Worker at MGM Springfield, you will maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish area while supporting the kitchen team to help ensure smooth operations. The role contributes to guests’ dining experiences through professional kitchen work. The starting rate is $18.05 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Break down, load, unload, and sort dishes, glassware, and flatware received in the dish area.
• Wash and store pots and other kitchen equipment in their correct locations.
• Operate the dishwashing machine and monitor and adjust detergent and chemical output as needed.
• Inspect clean dishes after washing and stack them properly in specified carts and shelves.
• Polish silver, copper, and brass as needed.
• Transport equipment, such as hot and cold boxes, to various outlets.
• Sweep and mop floors; wash floor mats; and clean baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, and cutting boards.
• Separate and remove trash, place it in designated containers, and steam clean garbage cans.
