Kitchen Team Member
About The Position
As a Deli Host, you will provide customer service to people from all walks of life and help maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No prior experience is required; training will be provided. You will answer questions about menu offerings, address customer needs, assist store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars, and keep fresh offerings available throughout the shift. You will prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides and use methods and technologies to follow company policies and maintain proper food safety conditions. The role may also include cross-training in other departments, including Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 25 or more pounds.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
Responsibilities
- Provide general customer service, answer questions about menu offerings, and address customer needs.
- Assist store cashier team members with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
- Keep fresh offerings available throughout the shift.
- Prepare deli products according to designated preparation guides, including salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold and hot sandwiches and wraps, and parfait cups.
- Use methods and technologies to follow company policies and procedures and maintain proper food safety conditions.
- Cross-train in other departments as needed, which may include Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
