About The Position
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Kitchen Team Member for its Mesa location. The role involves working with a team to prepare menu items, including soups, salads, and sandwiches, alongside the bakery’s scratch-baked breads and pastries. The position emphasizes food quality, customer service, community, and preparing meals accurately to specification. The schedule is flexible and shifts vary from week to week based on customer traffic and the time of year. Employees must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Kneaders locations are closed every Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- A can-do attitude and ability to work quickly and confidently.
- Ability to multitask, learn from mistakes, and look for opportunities to help other departments.
- Attentiveness to applicable food-handler and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift, with limited opportunities to sit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meal items quickly and confidently, following specifications accurately.
- Multitask and help other departments when needed, including stepping in without being asked.
- Follow applicable local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation requirements.
