Bojangles Restaurant Team Member (Cashier & Kitchen)
About The Position
The Restaurant Team Member performs a variety of duties focused on customer service, food preparation, store cleanliness, and efficient operations. The role includes greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, preparing menu items in accordance with food safety and quality standards, processing payments, maintaining the store, and supporting coworkers. Team members may also help with stocking, inventory monitoring, and opening or closing duties as applicable. Walk-in interviews are held weekdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bojangles inside the travel center at 1275 Drew Dix Pkwy, Pueblo, CO.
Requirements
- Able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Able to stand for long periods and move around the store.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds; some tasks may involve bending or kneeling.
- Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, time management, and basic math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, take orders, suggest menu options, and address questions or concerns professionally.
- Prepare menu items according to applicable standards, follow food storage and handling safety protocols, and maintain food quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Operate the point-of-sale system, process cash, credit, and mobile transactions, provide correct change, and assist with register balancing and end-of-shift cash counting.
- Keep the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen clean and organized; perform routine cleaning and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Collaborate with team members, assist with training new team members as needed, and support operations during busy periods.
- Restock ingredients and supplies, monitor inventory, report shortages to management, and store materials properly.
- Assist with opening and closing duties when applicable, including setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.
