About The Position

As a Team Member at Sbarro, you will help deliver a positive dining experience by preparing food, taking orders, maintaining cleanliness, and providing high-quality service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The role includes customer service, food preparation, cashier duties, sanitation, teamwork, and assistance with inventory and other tasks assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, take orders, process payments, answer menu questions, and ensure orders are accurate and served promptly.
• Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously, while maintaining a positive atmosphere for guests.
• Prepare pizzas, pasta, salads, and other menu items according to Sbarro standards; operate kitchen equipment and ensure food meets quality and presentation guidelines.
• Assist with food portioning, restocking, and maintaining inventory levels for food and beverage items.
• Clean and organize dining areas, kitchen counters, food preparation stations, restrooms, equipment, and utensils; follow food storage, preparation, health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately, issue receipts, and maintain the cashier area.
• Work with team members to support smooth operations, efficiency, daily goals, and a positive guest experience.
• Assist with training new employees or cross-training in different restaurant areas.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the manager or supervisor.
