About The Position

LV Petroleum is hiring Restaurant Team Members for its fast-paced Houston (McCarty) location. Team members provide customer service, prepare food, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and support efficient operations. The role includes greeting and assisting customers, taking orders, preparing sandwiches and other menu items, following food safety procedures, operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash, cleaning store areas, collaborating with coworkers, restocking supplies, monitoring inventory, and helping with opening and closing duties when applicable. The position requires availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and respond to questions or concerns professionally.
• Take customer orders and offer suggestions based on customer preferences.
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, hot meals, and other menu items according to restaurant standards.
• Handle ingredients and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
• Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, maintain portion sizes, and ensure food quality and presentation.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process cash, credit, and mobile transactions.
• Handle cash accurately, provide correct change, assist with register balancing, and count cash at the end of shifts.
• Keep the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen clean and organized.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as wiping counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations and assist with training new team members as needed.
• Support the team during busy periods and help ensure efficient store operations.
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items; monitor inventory and report shortages to management.
• Store ingredients and materials properly to maintain freshness and safety.
• Help open and close the store when applicable, including setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.
