Sugarloaf Kitchen Steward / Dishwasher
About The Position
Kitchen stewards/dishwashers support Sugarloaf’s resort dining locations by washing dishes, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment, and maintaining kitchen, dishwashing, and back areas according to local authority and restaurant guidelines. This is a fast-paced role on a supportive Food and Beverage team, with opportunities for growth and development. Full-time and part-time roles are available for the coming winter season. Shifts and work locations may vary and may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The hourly wage ranges from $19 to $21.
Requirements
- No previous experience is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained, and organized at all times.
- Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
- Collect and remove trash and recycling from all areas of the operation.
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment following established procedures.
- Clean and sanitize workstations and close them at the end of use.
- Assist with light food preparation as directed by the manager or chef on duty.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
