About The Position
Moji Food Central Kitchen is hiring Kitchen Staff/Dishwashers to support daily kitchen operations and dish cleaning at its Kent, Washington work site. The role combines food preparation and cooking support with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, appliances, and workstations. The position offers $21.65–$23 per hour and 36–40 hours per week, including weekend shifts. Requirements
- Ability to lift items over 30 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Past experience working as a cook, chef, or in a similar role within a high-volume production kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen manager in daily operations.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including kneading dough, making fillings, and handling raw materials.
- Follow standard operating procedures to prepare and cook food.
- Ensure food and other items are stored properly.
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, appliances, and workstations.
- Follow standard recipes and special diet orders.
- Adhere to sanitation and food production codes.
- Clean dishes in a fast-paced environment.
