About The Position

Chick-fil-A Deptford is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join its senior leadership team. This hands-on leadership role works alongside established directors to strengthen kitchen operations, build accountability, develop future leaders, and take ownership of operational results. The restaurant is a high-volume operation that recently completed a major remodel, including an expanded double drive-thru, and is growing its business. The Kitchen Manager will help improve systems, develop people, and contribute to meaningful business results while embracing Chick-fil-A’s commitment to excellence, hospitality, and teamwork.

Requirements

At least 2 years of restaurant or kitchen leadership experience.
Experience managing operations in a high-volume commercial kitchen.
Experience coaching and developing team members.
Working knowledge of food safety, food quality, inventory, and labor management.
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Maintain food safety, food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen execution in accordance with Chick-fil-A standards.
Coach and develop kitchen leaders, build accountability, and support a team of more than 30 kitchen employees.
Identify operational challenges, implement sustainable solutions, and improve consistency across kitchen operations.
Monitor food cost, inventory, labor, and productivity to improve efficiency and profitability.
Partner with fellow directors and the General Manager to achieve restaurant-wide goals and support continued growth.
