About The Position

Chick-fil-A Deptford is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join its senior leadership team. This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing people, improving systems, and taking ownership of operational results. The Kitchen Manager will work with an established team of directors to strengthen kitchen operations, build accountability, and develop future leaders while embracing Chick-fil-A's commitment to excellence, hospitality, and teamwork. The restaurant is a well-established, high-volume operation that recently completed a major remodel, including an expanded double drive-thru. It emphasizes hospitality, community involvement, intentional leadership training, and team recognition. The restaurant generated nearly $9 million in annual sales last year and is approaching $10 million in 2026.

Requirements

At least 2 years of restaurant or kitchen leadership experience.
Experience managing operations in a high-volume commercial kitchen.
Experience coaching and developing team members.
Working knowledge of food safety, food quality, inventory, and labor management.
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain it within 60 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Maintain exceptional food safety, food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen execution while ensuring Chick-fil-A standards are consistently met.
Coach and develop kitchen leaders, build accountability, and support a team of more than 30 kitchen employees.
Identify operational challenges, implement sustainable solutions, and strengthen consistency across kitchen operations.
Monitor food cost, inventory, labor, and productivity to improve efficiency and profitability.
Partner with fellow directors and the General Manager to achieve restaurant-wide goals and support continued growth.
