About The Position

Zoli’s NY Pizza in Addison, part of PILF Restaurant Group, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house team and kitchen operation. The role is responsible for maintaining high food quality and consistency, managing costs and labor, developing team members, and supporting restaurant performance. The manager is expected to work alongside the General Manager and step in on the line or wherever needed. Requirements

• Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, Assistant Kitchen Manager, Chef, or similar leadership experience.
• Knowledge of food cost and labor cost.
• Ability to coach team members constructively.
• Commitment to maintaining standards during busy service periods.
• Organizational skills to manage inventory and prep, along with flexibility to respond to changing restaurant needs.
• Interest in developing people, not just supervising them.
• Current or obtainable ServSafe certification.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop the back-of-house crew.
• Build a positive kitchen culture.
• Maintain high food quality and consistency.
• Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, product rotation, and waste.
• Manage labor and scheduling according to business needs.
• Conduct line checks, prep checks, and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen.
• Hire and onboard back-of-house team members.
• Identify and develop future kitchen leaders.
• Coach performance, recognize strong work, and hold the team accountable.
• Work with the General Manager to drive restaurant performance.
• Help wherever needed, including working on the line.
