Part Time Keyholder
About The Position
The Keyholder assists with the daily operations of a Lilly Pulitzer retail store, including sales, client experience, and safeguarding store assets. The role calls for understanding the Lilly Pulitzer brand, its lifestyle, clients, merchandise, and heritage, and embracing the company’s Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities. The Keyholder supports sales goals by focusing on clients and delivering the brand’s selling culture and client experience. The position is based in-store at a Lilly Pulitzer retail location and is classified as part-time, hourly, and non-exempt. Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required because of the seasonal nature of the business.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Apple technology.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to be on one’s feet and maneuver around the store during shift hours.
Nice To Haves
- Prior supervisory experience in the fashion or retail industry is preferred.
- Prior knowledge of XStore and Tulip is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales goals by providing an exceptional client experience and actively supporting the sales team’s focus on clients.
- Demonstrate Lilly Pulitzer’s selling culture and ensure a positive client experience.
- Maintain accurate cash transactions according to operating procedures.
- Open and close the retail store.
- Exercise decision-making and multitasking capabilities while prioritizing service as an elevated team member.
- Resolve client-related issues or escalate them to store management when necessary.
- Provide store management with ongoing feedback on selling opportunities and successes.
- Maintain visual and operational standards set by the Visual and Retail Operations teams.
- Safeguard store assets.
- Collaborate effectively with others in alignment with the company’s Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
- Comply with Lilly Pulitzer policies and the Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook.
