Part Time Key Holder - Cotton On Northridge Fashion Centre
About The Position
Cotton On is hiring a part-time Key Holder for its Northridge Fashion Centre store. The Key Holder is part of the store’s management team and helps lead the team while supporting daily store operations. The role includes opening and closing the store in line with company policies, delivering customer service, handling transactions, supporting inventory and merchandising, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety. The position calls for retail experience, preferably in fast fashion, and prior experience leading aspects of a retail business and developing team members. The role is part-time, hourly paid, with a stated wage range of $20.42–$23.42 per hour. The schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and requires the ability to move around the store and regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, squat or kneel, and use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform safely.
Requirements
- Experience in retail, preferably fast fashion.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results as part of a team.
- Awareness and understanding of basic retail principles, including sales, stock, and in-store service delivery.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
- At least 1 year of acting retail leadership or management experience involving leading aspects of the business and developing team members.
- Ability to move around the store throughout the shift or workday.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to regularly squat or kneel.
- Ability to safely use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform to complete required tasks.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead the store team as part of management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory control, restocking, and merchandising.
- Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
- Support loss prevention efforts and report unusual activity.

- Train and mentor new associates as needed.
- Collaborate and work as a team toward common goals.
- Maintain a professional presence and motivate and inspire others.
- Act respectfully toward customers, managers, and peers.
