Part Time Key Holder - Cotton On Scottsdale Mega
About The Position
Cotton On is hiring a part-time Key Holder for its Scottsdale Mega store. The Key Holder opens and closes the store, leads the team as part of management, delivers customer service, and supports sales, inventory, merchandising, store standards, and loss prevention. The role also involves training and mentoring associates, collaborating with the team, and maintaining a professional and respectful presence. The position is hourly paid, with a stated wage range of $18.80–$21.80 per hour. Cotton On is a global fashion and lifestyle retailer. Its Mega stores bring multiple Cotton On Group brands and product categories together in one location, with an emphasis on helping customers shop for a complete look. Requirements
- Retail experience, preferably in fast fashion.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results as part of a team.
- Awareness and understanding of basic retail principles, including sales, stock, and service delivery in stores.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Solid communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
- At least 1 year of retail leadership or management experience involving leading aspects of the business and developing team members.
- Ability to move around the store throughout the shift or workday.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to regularly squat and kneel.
- Ability to safely use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform to complete required tasks.
Responsibilities
- Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead the store team as part of management.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inventory control, restocking, and merchandising.
- Maintain store cleanliness and uphold safety standards.
- Support loss prevention efforts and report unusual activity.
- Engage professionally and respectfully with store teams and customers.
- Train and mentor new associates as needed.
- Collaborate with the team toward common goals.
- Maintain a professional presence and motivate and inspire others.
- Treat customers, managers, and peers respectfully.
