About The Position

The Key Holder supports the store’s leadership team and helps deliver a high-quality customer experience. The role leads by example, coaches and develops associates, and supports operational excellence across customer engagement, merchandising, and store standards. In partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Key Holder helps maximize profitability, foster an inclusive team culture, and contribute to store success. The position is suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced retail, enjoys mentoring others, and is passionate about exceptional service. This is a part-time or limited-time position and is not eligible for all VF Corporation benefit plans. Eligible benefit options will be explained during the hiring process. The role has a hiring range of $21.63–$30.00 per hour and may be eligible for additional compensation awards, which could include an annual incentive plan, sales incentives, or commission.

Requirements

At least 1 year of retail or store leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Proven ability to drive results through store teams and exceed sales and profit goals.
Skill in coaching, motivating, and building high-performing, diverse teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence across all levels.
Solution-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and meet business expectations.
Comfort using word processing, spreadsheets, and retail software tools.
Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; hands-on experience and demonstrated achievements are also valued.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized customer engagement through genuine interactions.
Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals by monitoring key performance indicators and meeting individual goals.
Model effective selling behaviors and foster a consumer-centric mindset.
Coach and develop associates to improve customer engagement and meet productivity goals.
Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, floor coverage, and task delegation.
Support stockroom operations by organizing inventory, processing shipments, and ensuring timely product flow to the sales floor.
Assist with training and onboarding new team members and provide ongoing feedback and support.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product replenishment aligns with brand directives.
Support inventory integrity through proper shipping, receiving, and loss-prevention practices.
Participate in local initiatives and events to promote community engagement.
Uphold company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Foster a positive, inclusive store environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and learning.
