About The Position
The specialized advisor supports the management team by demonstrating strong sales behaviors and floor leadership, fostering a positive work environment, and executing operational processes and goals in accordance with company standards and policies. The role helps motivate floor staff to exceed sales targets and provides customers with an engaging, unparalleled experience. This is a part-time key holder position. The role represents the Oakley brand, maintains product knowledge, builds positive customer relationships, and supports customer service initiatives. It also assists with merchandise processing, restocking, inventory monitoring, merchandising, display upkeep, and maintaining clean, organized sales-floor and warehouse areas. When management is not present, the Key Holder leads store opening and closing procedures.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience in a specialized environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong sales experience and a proven ability to achieve top results in individual sales performance.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team and interact effectively with others.
- Good time-management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and experience with cash registers.
- Ability to stand most of the time or move around on the sales floor or in the warehouse.
- Bilingual.
- Ability to move merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrate brand knowledge, and stay up to date on products.
- Establish strong customer connections and relationships to maintain positive interactions.
- Uphold and execute the company's customer service initiatives.
- Assist with processing and restocking merchandise and monitoring in-store inventory.
- Assist with floor movement, merchandising, display maintenance, and cleanliness of the sales floor and warehouse.
- Organize the warehouse and maintain labeling, logical placement, organization, and cleanliness.
- Lead store opening and closing procedures when management is not present.
- Perform other tasks assigned by a member of the management team.
