About The Position

The Kennel Technician provides daily care for boarding and daycare dogs, including walking, feeding, and administering medications. The role maintains a safe, clean, and welcoming facility; completes playtimes and supervises off-leash play for groups of social daycare dogs as needed; and provides customer service in person and over the phone. Technicians handle dogs of all sizes with gentle care and patience and use the Gingr kennel software to ensure services are completed accurately and on time.

Operations run from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the year. The schedule of activities across those hours includes caring for boarding dogs in the morning and evening, maintaining facility cleanliness and sanitizing rooms, walking dogs, supervising social and private playtimes, and assisting clients with calls, check-ins, and check-outs. This schedule describes a full day of operations and is not a single shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a team-focused mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work outdoors, and safely handle dogs of different sizes and energy levels.

Responsibilities
